START PRODUCTION: Pawpaw is a fragile plant if passed through any form of rough-handling the root becomes weak and won't grow very well and it would lead to loss of investment. So you need to handle/treat with the utmost care.
Another factor to consider is the climate condition. Pawpaw seeds grow well in warm climate weather, due to its tropical nature. Anything short of warm climate weather will lead to poor performance.
Steps to pawpaw plantation;
* Clear and prepare your farm land
* Collect the type of seeds that best suit the soil in the farmland
* Dig deep holes with proper spacing and place 4 to 6 seeds in each hole and cover
* Leave and come back after 20days, by then seeds would have to germinate
* Apply fertilizer or water, whichever one you decide to use on your plants.
* Clear plantation of weeds after 2 months and continue with maintenance every now and then until harvesting time.

MARKET YOUR FARM PRODUCTS: The major buyers of paw-paw fruit are manufacturing companies. Paw-paw is a vital ingredient for the production of other products such as bar soap, liquid soap, body creams, face creams, perfumery, drugs, air freshener, tropical drinks, herbal medicine and so many others. There are the wholesalers in major markets - these people are more likely to come directly to your farm and buy your products.
